Code 5472 is applicable to contracting insureds engaged in asbestos-related operations involving pipe and boiler work exclusively. These operations include removal, replacement or repair of existing asbestos coverings as well as enclosure or encapsulation of piping. No restrictions have been placed on the methods of removal of asbestos-containing materials from around steam pipes and boilers; these operations in their entirety are classified to Code 5472.
