Code 5020 applies to specialist contractors who install suspended acoustical grid-type ceilings. The operations involve attaching hang wires to building ceilings using screws or clips. Metal "T" bars are attached to the wires and snapped together to form the ceiling grid system. Acoustical tiles are then placed within the grid system to form the suspended acoustical ceiling.
