This classification contemplates the manufacture of alternators, generators, magnetos and starter parts, spark plugs, timers and parts, coils, condensers, relays and distributor parts, contact points and small ignition parts, fog lights, power window pulley systems, windshield wipers, renewable fuses, house-type fuses, automobile horns, sirens and directional signals. Code 3648 is also intended for a specialist repair shop where automotive parts as listed above are received and rebuilt provided such shop employees do not remove or install the automotive parts or perform repair work on vehicles.
