 Code 2916 applies to insureds that manufacture products made from veneer but do not manufacture the veneer used in such products. Refer to Code 2915 for risks which manufacture veneer and further process the veneer into a product. “Veneer” is defined as a thin layer of material, usually made of wood or plastic, which is used to cover the surface of another material. In most instances, veneer will have a superior quality surface when compared to the surface it covers.
