Code 2587 is assigned to insureds that collect soiled towels, linens, coats and aprons and deliver them to a laundry to be washed and ironed. The cleaned items are either picked up by the towel or toilet supply company or delivered to them. Towel supply companies then count, sort, mend and wrap the items for return to their customers. When performed by the towel or toilet supply company, machine embroidering on the linens is an operation also assigned to Code 2587.
