Code 2157 is applied to insureds engaged in the bottling or canning of carbonated and noncarbonated liquids as well as the warehousing, labeling, packaging and distributing of the product in states where the bottling or canning is performed. The bottling of wine and the canning of beer or ale, received in barrels from outside sources, also falls within the scope of this classification. Code 2157 further encompasses bottling or canning employees who erect or repair signs, advertising their employer's product and employees who service and repair refrigerator boxes or coolers and vending machines owned by the insured. Route supervisors who have regular routes which they cover by truck, selling and delivering the insured's product from the trucks, are also classified under Code 2157.
