Code 1710 is applied to insureds engaged in producing crushed stone and gravel as a separate and distinct business. Stone crushing operations generally involve the use of machinery to crush the stone to a desired size, after which the stone may be screened and/or washed. This classification applies to general crushing of a wide variety of stone or rock but does not apply to fine grinding operations.
