Code 0153 is assigned to insureds who spray lawns, shrubs, and other ornamental vegetation of both commercial and residential customers. Insureds who use both categories of sprays shall be assigned to either Code 4828 or 4829. This classification is also assigned to insureds engaged in the management of water environments. These businesses spray chemicals of low toxicity to control aquatic weeds, algae, grass and brush. They will also monitor bacteria and oxygen levels in the water and operate lake aeration systems to keep the water clean, healthy and attractive.
