Codes 6828F and 6838 are assigned to insureds engaged in the fabrication or construction of fiberglass boats not exceeding 150 feet in length and to the repair and reconditioning of these vessels. Although the footnote to this classification specifically refers to yachts, motorboats, sailboats and rowboats, this classification has not been limited to the construction of pleasure watercraft but also is assigned to those risks predominately engaged in such operations, which will occasionally construct or repair commercial-type boats within the 150 feet in length limitation. This is in recognition of the fact that most of the pleasure-type boatbuilding concerns primarily engaged in the construction or repair of pleasure craft will on occasion repair or even construct small commercial watercraft.
