Code 5478 is applicable to the installation of floor coverings commonly referred to as resilient flooring, carpet, and laminate flooring. Code 5478 is assigned to the installation of these goods to floors and other surfaces. The term “resilient” includes tiles and sheets made of vinyl, linoleum, asphalt, or rubber. Ceramic tile, mosaic, or indoor stone is assigned to Code 5348.
