Code 5160 applies to the erection of elevators and escalators including the installation of all electrical apparatus and wiring in connection therewith. Code 5160 also contemplates the service or repair of elevators and escalators. The term “repair,” as contained in the classification's phraseology, means elevator or escalator parts repair away from the shop. Also, repair work on elevators or escalators already in service is assigned to Code 5160 even though the particular job at a specific location is confined entirely to electrical repair work.
