Code 3224 is applicable to the manufacture of enamel ware products such as pots, bathtubs, vases, utensils and other goods made of enameled or porcelainized sheet metal or steel. Code 3224 contemplates sheet metal forming and stamping operations, pickling (to treat, preserve, clean or give a light finish to) operations, enameling or porcelainizing operations including preparation of the enamel, and the baking of the products. The classification is also applicable to insureds engaged in the enameling or porcelainizing of metal products that were manufactured by others.
