This week, it was announced that a federal jury in Orlando, Florida had found a woman guilty of one count of theft of government funds and two counts of concealing a material fact in connection with the receipt of workers compensation benefits. 54-year-old Susan J. Gissy of Crystal River now faces a maximum penalty of ten years on the theft charge and up to five years on each of the concealment charges. The defendant is scheduled to be sentenced on March 5, 2017.
