Code 9620 encompasses all operations of a funeral director other than employees qualifying for the Standard Exceptions classifications Clerical Office Employees and Salespersons, who would be separately rated. Drivers are included within the scope of Code 9620 inasmuch as the operation of vehicles such as hearses, flower cars, limousines, etc., is considered an integral function in the services provided by a funeral director. Frequently, their drivers also have other duties in connection with the operations of funeral establishments so that there would necessarily be an interchange of labor.
