Per NCCI's Scopes Code Description:
This classification is assigned to agricultural horse farms where no stallions are maintained. Operation of all acreage or facilities used in connection with the care of mares, foals and racehorses is included. Mares may be maintained until they are ready to be bred, at which time they are shipped to another farm where breeding takes place. After the mare is bred she is returned to the original farm.
