Code 4683 is applied to insureds engaged in the manufacture of vegetable oils by hydraulic pressing or rotary screw pressing methods. Soybeans, flaxseed (the source of linseed oil), peanuts, corn germ, rice bran, sunflower seed, castor beans, cocoa beans and olive pomace are received from others. The mechanical hydraulic or screw pressing operations involve milling of the seeds or beans, steam cooking of the ingredients and then the pressing of the cooked seeds or beans to expel the oils.
