Per NCCI's Scopes Code Description:
Code 2380 is assigned to insureds engaged in the manufacture of elastic or non-elastic webbing. Nylon, acetate, rayon and cotton yarns are received and processed through either knitting and crocheting machines or narrow fabric shuttle looms. The knitted or woven product is either skeined, spooled or pulled, dyed and run through finishing machines prior to being blocked and spooled for shipment. This classification also covers insureds engaged in the manufacture of braid, tassels or fringes used by various industries to ornament their products. Cotton and synthetic yarns are received and processed by spooling, doubling, braiding, cutting and knotting. Some knitting and weaving may also be performed. Code 2380 is also assigned to insureds engaged in the manufacture of net, an open meshed fabric made from cotton or synthetic yarn which is knotted or woven together at regular intervals. .
