"This classification applies to the production of aircraft engines or to the rebuilding of complete aircraft engines on an assembly line basis. The classification contemplates a considerable amount of precision machine work, inspection work and intricate bench assembly work. The basic materials include aluminum, magnesium and iron castings and steel forgings. In addition there are such parts as the clutch, carburetors, generators, ignition units, starters, transmissions, bearings, belts, chains, fans, gears, pistons, rings and general hardware."
