Per NCCI's Scopes Code Description:

"Code 3132 is applied to insureds engaged in the manufacture of nuts, bolts and spikes made from iron or steel rod stock received from others. Usually the products are press formed, either hot or cold. Various types of automatic bolt and forging machines, cold presses, bending chucks, shears, blanking presses, tapping and threading machines are used to manufacture these products. Milling bolt heads and nuts to remove burrs or to shape the nuts or the head of the bolts is also contemplated within the scope of this classification as is the pointing of spikes. When finished, the products are inspected and the nuts and bolts are assembled prior to shipment."
