Per NCCI's Scopes Code Description:
"Code 1925 is applied to insureds engaged in die casting and finishing of various components for its customers. Alloys are prepared by melting various metals in desired proportions and pouring into ingots. The ingots are melted in die casting machinery and forced into dies by means of air or hydraulic pressure. Castings are removed and cleaned by grinding and sanding. Some castings are shipped in this state; others are drilled and tapped; and others may be turned, milled, buffed, polished and inspected. This classification also contemplates the machining of the dies utilized in the casting production."
