Per NCCI's Scopes Code Description:

"Code 0008 applies to all acreage or facilities devoted to the cultivation, harvesting and packing of perishable vegetables such as those listed below. Crops of this kind may involve more than one planting during a season, and upon maturity the produce must be harvested daily for shipment to market. An example of the type of crop contemplated by this code is tomatoes, which continue to bear over a period of time thus requiring continuous harvesting. The following is a list of specific crops contemplated by Code 0008: asparagus, beans (green), beets (table), broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers, eggplant, horseradish, kale, lettuce, onions (green), parsnips, peppers, radishes, rhubarb, rutabagas, spinach, sweet corn, taro, tomatoes, turnips, zucchini."
